The word I chose was Isumataq: hear me talk about it on a podcast
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a podcast conversation that’s just come out and that feels particularly close to home.
I recently joined Wodcast, a podcast built around a simple idea: the words that shape us. Each guest brings words that have meaning in their lives and explores the stories, ideas and experiences behind them.
The word I chose was, of course, Isumataq (an inuit word).
It was really special to share that word and to have the opportunity to talk about what it means to me, why it has stayed with me, and some of the thinking behind what we’re building together - and to see Isumataq being shared with a whole new audience.
I’m also in some wonderful company this season, alongside Stephen Fry, Elif Shafak, Hak Baker, David Larbi, Professor David Nutt, Nick Mulvey, Waad Al-Kateab and Tim Rice.
You can listen to my Wodcast episode here.
I’ve been lucky enough to have quite a few interesting podcast conversations lately, so we’re gathering them all in one place. You can find all of my podcast appearances on this Spotify playlist, which we’ll keep adding to as new ones come out.
I hope you enjoy listening - this one felt particularly special to me.
With love,
Remi
