Our Year in Review and Some Reflection Questions for You - Community and Becoming
Hi everyone,
As we come to the close of this year, I’ve been taking a moment to reflect on the journey we’ve been on together - both as a collective and as individuals. This season naturally invites us to pause, soften and look back. You may want to take a quiet moment to ask yourself:
- What changed me this year in ways I didn’t expect?
- What did those changes, or events, teach me?
- When did I feel most like myself? And what am I being asked to honour?
- What truths did my body try to tell me this year? And was I able to listen?
- What am I ready to release? And how might I do this?
- What remains open and is still in need of attention?
- What am I feeling called towards in the year ahead?
This has been a year of beginnings for the Isumataq Collective, and I’m deeply grateful to all who have been a part of it. The intention behind this space has always been simple: to offer women a place to meet themselves unapologetically, supported, witnessed and held as we grow in community, and as we navigate the deeper intersections of womanhood, leadership, business and spirituality. If we are to transform our personal and professional lives in a way that no longer forces us to be separate and fragmented, then we need to give voice to the places where these different aspects of ourselves and our experiences meet. We need to address what is often left unspoken, but urgently needs our attention, so that we can step into the full magnificence of our being and lead from wholeness.
The creation of the Coaching Short materials, which aims to support your journeys of self-enquiry, has been healing for me too, as it has also tracked and honoured some of my own strong life experiences: from connecting with my ancestors and the resilience they can help us access, to developing a living relationship with the profound grief felt at the loss of children and both my parents, and the deeper wisdom contained in burnout - it is these initiations and many more that have shown me how our stories are our gifts, and that we need authentic and held spaces to gather and share them if we are to truly transform.
Our Success Seed is the blueprint of the Isumataq Collective, allowing us to redefine success on our own terms.
